Superior Court - Civil Lawsuits Over $10,000
The Superior Court has jurisdiction over civil disputes where the amount in controversy exceeds $10,000. Civil cases usually involve legal conflicts among individuals, businesses, corporations, partnerships, and governmental entities. Many civil cases are the result of personal injury, property damage, medical malpractice, and contract disputes. Other civil case filings might involve real property, such as forcible detainer actions, or quiet title proceedings.
Much of the civil litigation in Superior Court is conducted through attorneys, but there are some individuals who choose to represent themselves. The forms below are some commonly used forms in civil proceedings.
How to fill out Civil Suit forms
Carefully read all Civil Suits instructions BEFORE filling out any forms. If you are filing a case on your own behalf (without the assistance of an attorney), you are responsible for all aspects of your case. If you need additional information beyond what is contained in this web site, you may use the Self-Service Center at Mohave County Superior Court. Court clerks cannot give legal advice. If you want legal advice, you must contact an attorney.
Note that when filling out forms from your computer, you should not type information into those parts of the form reserved for the defendant(s) and court staff.
