What is the Mohave County Adult Drug Court Program?
The minimum duration of Drug Court is twelve months, and includes four phases. There is a non-adversarial courtroom atmosphere where a judge, probation staff, attorneys, and treatment providers work as a team toward the common goal of breaking the cycle of addiction and criminal behavior. Adult Drug Court participants have access to a variety of treatment and rehabilitation services, e.g., residential treatment, intensive outpatient, relapse prevention, individual sessions and recovery residences. Probation funding of treatment is subject to availability and an evaluation of the probationer's financial status, including determination of whether they are AHCCCS eligible.
